Social and Financial Education

In many countries children and young people do not have the knowledge and skills to actively participate and contribute to their societies, which are often characterised by weak education systems, poor social services and limited employment opportunities. Aflatoun International’s Social and Financial Education allows them to break the intergenerational cycle of poverty and inequality, turning dependence into independence. Aflatoun International creates high-quality curricula, for different age groups, which can be contextualised to local needs or specific circumstances.

TAI is an official partner of Aflatoun; read more on this partnership by clicking here.

Since 2010 Jonathan has been a trainer of the multiple Aflatoun curricula. Starting as a trainer of trainees in 2010, he worked his way up from a Regional Master Trainer to a Global Master Trainer as of 2018. Being a teacher of origin, training is something dear to his heart and for which Jonathan has a clear passion as well as a flagrant and acknowledged skill. Read more on Jonathan’s drive to train the Aflatoun curricula by clicking here.

Over the years Jonathan has been training staff and beneficiaries of (not limited to):

  • Plan International
  • Dorcas International
  • Room to Read International
